Guys and girls do you know about different types of skin? You must know it if you are anxious about your skincare. Because every type of skin has different kind of care.

If you are serious about your skincare and you want to adopt some tips and treatments on your skin then it becomes necessary for you to know about the types of skin.

Because every type of skin has its different care and treatments.

We can categorize skin types in five major categories according to the look & feel of skin. so know skin type carefully so that you can adopt some steps in order to care for your skin. Remember there is nothing as beautiful as a flawless skin.

Five Types of Skin

# Normal Skin - This skin type neither oily not dry. It has a soft, velvety texture. Color glows under its translucent surface. It is beautiful type of skin but it also need care it you want long lasting of your skin with your age.

People with normal skin start showing signs of age and wrinkling sooner than others, So be conscious about your skin if you have normal type of skin. Daily cleansing, toning and nourishing is the adequate care for your normal skin.

# Oily Skin - In this kind of skin, the sebaceous (oil-producing) glands are overactive. They produce more oil than is needed, which oozes up, giving the skin greasy shine. The pores are enlarged and the skin has a coarse look. it is also prone to black heads, pimples and acne.

So.. if you have oily skin then it need special cleansing to keep the pores unclogged. The flow of oil increases during adolescence and starts decreasing with age. At other times of life, like pregnancy and meno-pause, hormonal imbalances can also upset the oil balance and increase oil gland activity.

# Dry Skin - If you have a dry skin, you fall in the category of the majority. Your skin lacks both oil and moisture. It looks fine-textured, transparent, patchy and fragile. There may be tiny expression lines and there may even be crepeyness. It flakes and chaps easily.

There are many factors which affect dry skins and make them even more dry. For instance, washing with soap and water not only removes grime but also the natural oils that protect the skin. Exposure to the sun, air-conditioners and heaters also take their toll.

Dry skins need attention by way of products which supply emollients and moisture. The emollient provides the oils, keeps the skin lubricated and traps moisture in the skin. A moisturizer increases the water content of the outer layers of the skin. A moisturizer increases the water content of the outer layers of the skin, giving it a soft, moist look.

# Combination Skin - This type of skin has a greasy area, while the rest is dry or normal. The forehead, nose and chin, i.e. the T-zone, may be greasy and the rest dry.

Combination skins are very common and are one of the most frequently misunderstood and mistreated skins. This type of skin requires sperate treatment for each area. However, both the dry and greasy areas need moisturizing.

Please Be Remember that oil is not moisture. Pay special attention to cleansing and use a skin tonic to tone up the skin. Like oily skins, the oily panel may be prone to unappealing clusters of black heads and enlarged pores.

# Sensitive Skin - Sensitive skins react quickly to external and internal changes and sometimes show a flushed or reddened look or may itch.

As you know sensitive skin needs most care other than any other type of skin. it react negatively on a small internal or external change.
